Finding happiness after loss, grief, or trauma is possible!

I have traveled these roads too.

Loss creates an emotional and neurological knot. These life events can block our full capacity to give and receive love. Left unchallenged throughout adulthood, many aspects of our life remain negatively affected: self-esteem and confidence, relationships and boundary issues, physical health and self-care, and so much more. Grief recovery is about untangling all of our loss events, naming and feeling those losses, understanding the connection in how we consciously and unconsciously dealt with our losses, and finding compassion and peace in ourselves and others as we heal.

" Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call if fate." - Carl Jung

“We cannot be healthy human beings without accepting and experiencing the full range of human feelings. Our emotions are our own music, and no monotone or three-note-ditty can create in us any fervor for being alive. We become symphonies when we reclaim all the notes of the emotional scale.” - Pete Walker

I offer a free 30-minute get acquainted coaching session to see if we're a good fit in working together. The following will help me prepare for our conversation: What is your ACE Score?

Which of these Life Experiences have you endured?

I utilize several tools that have helped me. We will begin with an outline of your experiences. This blueprint of your story becomes our roadmap for exploration. You'll decide which area you most want to work on to experience healing and growth.

The amount of work you put into your healing and growth journey will determine its pace. Self-reflection with homework are accelerators. Emotional pain is part of our human experience. We perpetuate our suffering without effective processing tools.

Hello and welcome! I'm Ronda Bonfanti

Christmas is my favorite holiday and always fills me up with joyful memories of my parents and siblings. My precious mother poured her love out to our big family. She was quite the cook and enjoyed decorating and hosting parties.

I was born into a large, loving, Southern family. I am the fifth of six children. My parents divorced when I was seven. I was well into my twenties before any significant conversations around my father being an alcoholic surfaced. Learning why I adopted food addiction, perfectionism, control, people-pleasing, codependency, and self-loathing has been part of my healing journey.

The Body Keeps the Score

My journey in healing from Complex Trauma and PTSD has taken many forms. At times it felt like one step forward and other times many steps backwards. But my commitment to my Self and my family helped me stay the course. While there are many ways to reach a similar destination, I am passionate in sharing the evidence-based practices that found their way to my heart and helped reduce my suffering.
